Biography

Back in the 1980s, I started to play tennis with my father when I was six years old. Over the years, it became my favourite hobby next to riding motorbikes. I have never played on a really professional level but just for fun. Nevertheless, I love the sport and had some good and competitive times in my 20s when I played in the German Hessenliga for my old club TC BW Bad Soden near Frankfurt where I grew up. After some years abroad and several movals, I now play tennis at the SB Bayern 07 in Nuremberg. The SB Bayern 07 is a sports club close to Nuremberg's Old Town which counts with several 'departments' such as tennis, tabletennis, swimming, stand up paddling, and beach volleyball. Our 6 tennis clay courts are located on campus with 2 open-air swimming pools, and 7 beach volleyball fields. In 2021, we built our first touchennis clay court and are looking forward to enjoying this game.
