Biography

Born and raised in Port Lincoln South Australia. Darren began tennis at the early age of 7. His father, a tennis coach, taught him the technical basics but Darren quickly proved too good for Puppa Polk and made his way into the Tennis Australia National Academy by the age of 14. Darren has had an impressive career on the ATP World Tour to date with a singles high ranking of 899 and a doubles high ranking of 488. He has found delight in touchtennis as his ability to out wit and out manoeuvre his opponents has greater value on the smaller court.
