USE POST CODE WS1 2QH, FOR PARKING ON ARBORETUM ROAD, GO THROUGH THE PEDESTRIAN GATE, DOWN THE SLOPE AND ACROSS A TINY BRIDGE OVER THE BROOK, TURN RIGHT AND WALK UP TO THE COURTS WHICH ARE ON THE LEFT, THE PATH IS LIT ALL THE WAY.

THERE ARE NO OPEN TOILETS AT NIGHT, SO PLEASE PREPARE FOR THIS, AND NOWHERE TO BUY DRINKS (I'LL TRY AND CARRY SOME) SO BEST TO BRINK A FEW BOTTLES WITH YOU, BRING LAYERS FOR WHEN NOT PLAYING. THERE WILL BE A HOT MEAL TO PURCHASE FROM AROUND 7:30PM FOR £3.

IF YOU WANT TO COME AND PRACTICE IN THE DAYLIGHT, BRING A NET AND HELP YOURSELVES, LINES ARE PAINTED. I WILL BE SETTING UP FROM 5PM,

6PM START TIME FOR MATCHES, BUT WILL ACCEPT A 6:30PM ARRIVAL FOR THOSE TRAVELLING THROUGH RUSH HOUR, HOWEVER WHEN DRAW IS OUT PLEASE LOOK AND GET HERE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE IF IN ROUND 32 MATCH. DRAW IS GETTING QUITE BIG NOW, CONSOLATION WILL HAPPEN AND A SHORT, FUN DOUBLES COMP IF TIME.

After the success of the Black Country Open, and the immediate launch of the 6 new hard touchtennis courts at Walsall Arboretum, we are holding a smaller scale night time world ranking event, aimed at local players wanting another taste of competition and to play their 2nd event and climb the rankings.

Mixed singles and ladies singles planned with consolation events all under the floodlights.

6pm matches start, practice open from 5:30pm.
